A pair of Berlin sky-blue ground two-handled oviform vases and covers
Circa 1860, blue sceptre marks
Painted in the manner of Wouvermann with equestrian scenes, within gilt circular cartouches of apricot-pink ground borders of diaper and scroll-pattern lozenge-shaped panels, below a guilloche-pattern band, the shoulders moulded with egg and dart pattern, the lower parts moulded with serpents above acanthus, on a stepped circular base (the covers fixed in position, light rubbing to gilding)
