An Edwardian Deskpiece Compendium in the form of an early motorcar: of wood and nickel-plated brass construction, with detail features including headlights, steering wheel, gear & brake levers, leather upholstery and rubber tyres on spoked wheels, the seating and bonnet hinged respectively to reveal hidden compartments for cigarettes and matches etc. Probably of French manufacture c1904.
