STELLA, Claudia [i.e. Claudine BOUZONNET] (engraver). Jeux de l' Enfance, [?Paris: no publisher, [n.d.] but ?late 19th-century]. Oblong 4° (189 x 243mm). Title and 24 engraved plates trimmed and laid down on thick card leaves, mounted on guards throughout. (Plates lightly browned.) Finely-bound in contemporary straight-grained crimson morocco decorated and lettered in gilt, gilt edges (extremities rubbed, a few scuffs). Gumuchian (entry 3413) lists a work by Jacques Stella, the engraver's uncle, with the variant title Les Jeux et Plaisirs de l' Enfance published in Paris in 1657 and calling for 51 plates depicting "Scènes à jeux enfantins charmants de diversité et de fantasie."
