A Napoleon III gilt-bronze and porcelain-mounted striking mantel clock, mid 19th century
Modelled with putti astride dolphins and with fish to the top, the bowed porcelain front panel painted with a conforming marine scene, the Roman dial signed HRY MARC A PARIS, with gilt trefoil hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 10½in. (26.5cm.) high
