The case modelled as the Royal Arms, inscribed in raised lettering on banner mount to the base DIEU ET MON DROIT and to the centre of the dial HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, with individual white enamel Roman chapter circlets and cast in the centre with quartered arms, signed BOYER A PARIS, blued steel moon hands, the eight day twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 12in. (30.5cm.) high
