The chalet style case modelled with hunting trophies and with crossed rifle and deer head cresting, the dial with painted wood Roman cartouche chapters and carved wood hands, with a seated figure and automaton cuckoo emerging beneath the eaves, the three-train weight driven skeletonised brass movement with strike on gong, cuckoo on two bellows and music via a 3½in. pinned cylinder -- 45in. (114cm.) high
