A Victorian mahogany and inlaid longcase clock, circa 1840
The hood with replaced swan neck cresting, arched glazed side panels, stripe-inlaid angles flanking the trunk door, the 14in. painted dial with seasonal spandrels and scene of the Lady of the Lake to the arch, Roman dial with subsidiary seconds and date rings, brass hands (dial distressed), pinned directly to the eight day four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell -- 87in. (221cm.) high
