With handle to breakarch top, fishscale sound frets to the sides, on ball feet, the white painted Roman convex dial with strike/not strike lever above XII, pierced and moon hands, rubbed signature, the eight day twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell, the back plate with engraved border, pendulum holdfast and signed Miles/Newgate Street/LONDON -- 17¼in. (44cm.) high to hilt of handle
