The case with female figural finial to bell top, flanked by flaming urns, with elaborate foliate scroll mounts to all sides and volute and trailing flower mounts to each angle, the side frets cast with flowers and scrolls, coronet and flower mounts above each door and grape and vine mounts below, musical trophy mounts to the sides, on scroll feet, the silvered dial with painted Roman chapters and signed LE PLASTRIER/Chancery Lane/LONDON, with strike/silent ring in the arch, blued steel trefoil hands, the eight day twin chain fusee movement with five pillars, anchor escapement and strike on gong with cast iron stand, trip repeat, with pendulum holdfast to the back plate signed Christie/LONDON -- 23½in. (59.5cm.) high
