A Victorian ebonised and brass-mounted small striking mantel clock, late 19th century
The case with brass handle and finials to inverted bell top, pierced sound frets below and to the sides, with brass stop-fluted Corinthian half columns to the front and on bracket feet, the arched dial with silvered sight ring to silvered dial engraved with floral swags and an urn, signed A&H ROWLEY/LONDON below silvered Roman chapter ring, blued steel hands, the eight day twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong, with pendulum holdfast to back plate -- 13¾in. (35cm.) high to hilt of handle
