the hinged cover set with a carved coral cameo of a lady wearing a floral garland in a black enamel ground, chipped, with red enamel sprays, the base engraved with matching design, with rose-cut diamond crescent thumb-piece opening to reveal twin compartments with hinged covers and rose-cut diamond two stone tabs with central lipstick holder, the lid with hinged mirror with twin rose-cut diamond two stone tabs, the reverse with aide memoire and clip-in pencil, with French poincon and London import marks, 1920, 9.4 x 5.8 x 1.5 cm.
