Mark of Carl Ekqvist, St. Petersburg, 1846
the stand of oval form, with scroll and leaf mount and central recess for the glass dish, the oval 'Annagrun' glass dish shaped and cut as a pail, the silver lid with openwork stylised bouquet finial (some leafage missing), the stand 20 x 16cm (7 7/8 x 6¼in).
