A Stetson autographed by the cast of Bus Stop, 1956 -- the cream coloured Stetson made by Karam's, apparently worn by an extra in the rodeo sequence of the film and signed in black ballpoint pen by 11 members of the cast and crew including: Marilyn Monroe [Cherie], Don Murray [Bo], Joshua Logan [director], George Axelrod [screenwriter], Robert Bray [Carl the bus driver], Arthur O'Connell [Virge Blessing], Betty Field [Grace - Bus Stop proprietess], Eileen Heckart [Cherie's confidant, Vera], Hans Conreid and others; accompanied by a document concerning the provenance (2)

According to the vendor, the extra who wore this Stetson in the seated crowd in the film's rodeo sequence, also obtained the signatures. Monroe's subtle performance in Bus Stop as the saloon bar singer Cherie, is regarded by many critics as the best of her career. The film's director Joshua Logan commented "She has the makings of a great comedienne.."
