A negligée of black nylon, the front opening, neckline and cuffs trimmed with black lace, with two button fastenings -- made for Hattie Jacques as Matron in the 1967 Rank film Carry On Doctor and later worn by Suzanne Danielle as Emmannuelle Prevert in the 1978 Rank film Carry On Emmannuelle; accompanied by an additional length of lace trim; and a typescript letter from the Wardrobe Mistress who worked on Carry On Emmannuelle, confirming that she altered the original negligée worn by Hattie Jacques in Carry On Doctor to be worn by Suzanne Danielle in Carry On Emmannuelle (3)
