8o (160 x 104 mm). A very rare contemporary silver wire embroidered binding of green silk velvet, covers worked in high relief with central stylized floral and grape design in wire and blue colored silk within an oval, surrounded by a raised strapwork and arabesques, two narrow horizonal panels at each end, upper cover lettered "DINA" "NAMIAS" lower cover dated "ANNO" "5402" [1642], each corner decorated with with a fleur-de-lys, on a background of sequins, two silver clasps, gilt and gauffered edges, spine devided into four compartments, each with a stylized floral design (some sequins lost, minor rubbing to edges).
