FIRST EDITION OF THIS SCARCE MAP. The map shows the eastern portion of the state of Kansas, which at the time was the only portion surveyed. A large inset map shows "Routes from the Missouri River to the Kansas Gold Mines" around Pike's Peak. This edition not in Howes, Wheat, Graff, Streeter or Phillips.
