each in the form of a slightly convex band with hooked clasp at back, the first, possibly Tlingit, engraved with spread-winged Janus eagle against a very finely crosshatched ground, formline details; the second, possibly Haida, very finely engraved, the smooth and hatched surfaces with highly stylized "split" avian figure, its long beak resting above curled talons and wing feathers, with classic formline design
