An enclosed crank hopper cooled single horizontal cylinder "barn" engine,
by Dinky Dears, Inc., Winston, Oregon with atmospheric inlet and mechanically operated exhaust valve, carburettor and fuel line to crank case, twin spoked flywheels and other details, finished in green, the hopper sides lettered John Deere in yellow, the valve actuating mechanism cover plate embossed Manufactured by Waterloo Gasoline Engine Co Waterloo Iowa and with brass plate engraved 013, mounted on a wood plinth with battery, switch and indicator light -- 11 x 15¾in. (28 x 40cm.)
