in the early 18th Century taste, the inverted bell-shaped bowl decorated with spiral fluting, a rope-twist band and two beaded scroll handles, one side with an oval cartouche with presentation inscription surrounded by scalework, foliage and C-scrolls, maker's mark indistinct, London 1888 - 6¾in. (17.25cm.) overall, 8oz.
