A set of four William IV salt cellars
in the early 18th Century taste, each on a rising foliate-cast circular base, the tapering gadrooned circular bowls cast with rising stiff foliage and chased with rococo shells and scrolls, the undersides of the bases engraved: "Arthur's Club", probably William Bateman, London 1835 - 3¼in. (8.25cm.) 40oz.
