the first a bright-cut helmet example on a rising square base, with a scroll handle and punch-beaded rim, the front engraved with a monogram within a circular cartouche with bow surmount, maker's mark indistinct, London 1790 - 5½in. (14cm.); the second a bright-cut and reeded moulded oval example with bracket handle, the front engraved with a monogram with dividers and a set square above, London 1807. (2)
