In the Art Deco style, the cocktail shaker with a circular stepped base, the body facetted, the strainer and cover set with cabochon moonstones mounted in 18K gold bezels, the eight cups conical on a molded circular base, set with cabochon moonstones in gold bezels, the tray rectangular with conforming decoration, each marked on base

Lot Essay

The original design for this cocktail set was by Arthur L. Barney for Tiffany's silver display case in the House of Jewels at the 1939 New York World's Fair and illustrated in John Loring's Magnificent Tiffany Silver, page 243.
