A PARCEL-GILT PORCELAIN CREAM PITCHER
In 1790, Washington purchased an French porcelain dinner service from the Count de Mustier, the French Ambassador to America. The set totalled 309 pieces, and was composed of both Sevres and Duc d' Angouleme factory wares. The following five lots are part of that set.
