Lot Essay

Faded, ground turned ecru in colour. Small zig-zag border. Cross stitch used for the whole sampler. Ground in good condition with no obvious holes, although patchy in colour. Coloured silks faded, mainly blues, greens with red and brown. Alphabet and text in brown, not distinct from the ground.
