This work is sold with a photo-certificate from the Stiftung Ada und Emil Nolde, Seebüll, dated 22 Mai 2003.

This work is part of the 'ungemalte Bilder', executed by the artist when he was declared a 'degenerate artist' and officially forbidden to paint.
