Lot Essay

The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by Maya Widmaier Picasso.

This drawing bore on the verso a Tête d'homme (C. Zervos, op. cit., no. 65). The recto and verso being fully independent works, and the artist's board having been thick, the two works have been separated with the consent of Maya Widmaier Picasso.
