Oval, with spire finial and shell handles, finely painted front and back on the cover and base with a coat-of-arms for Albert de Luynes in gilt and colored enamels shown against ermine mantling and beneath a coronet, the sides with clusters of fruit, flowers musical instruments, pine and bamboo above a band of iron-red and gilt cell-pattern, the interior of the cover and the bowl with further flower sprays
