Lot Essay

Dr. Höper has kindly confirmed the attribution on the basis of a photograph in a communication dated 30 August 2003. She compares this drawing to others in the Palazzo Rosso, Genoa, and at the Uffizi, Florence (respectively inv. no. 2553 and 12288F, C. Höper, Bartolomeo Passarotti, Worms, 1987, nos. Z113 and Z90).
