Lot Essay

We are grateful to Martin Dieterle for confirming the attribution to Corot. M. Dieterle dates the drawing to circa 1835-40.
The drawing will be included in the forthcoming addition to the Catalogue raisonné de l'oeuvre graphique de Corot in preparation by Jill Newhouse and Martin Dieterle.
