From the same album as a drawing at the Fitzwilliam museum in Cambridge (D. Scrase, Flower Drawings, Cambridge, 1997, no. 15). Aubriet worked for the Vélins du Roi and engraved plants for Tournefort. In 1700 he accompanied Tournefort on a trip to the Aegan and the Black Sea to record new plants. A plant was named after him.
