The following one hundred and twenty-five lots of Dutch, English, German and Italian tin-glazed earthenware represent a small portion of the collection formed by Mr. Edwards in tandem with his illustrious collection of Chinese imari porcelain sold by Christie's over the past three years. The two collections provide a facinating visual parallel between East and West, also reinforcing the exchange of design between individual European countries.
