CIRCA 1775 AND 1780
Of Ralph Wood type, the sauceboat modeled as a swan, its neck the handle, the wings splashed in green, the feet and bill brown; the wall-pocket moulded with a cupid holding aloft a flaming brazier below a band of acanthus, a quiver suspended from his hip, a flower garland spiraling around the horn, the acanthus rim, hair, garland and horn tip enriched with a green glaze
