Saint Sebastian tended by Saint Irene

We are grateful to Professor Giancarlo Sestieri (verbal communication, 4 December 2003) for suggesting the attribution to Luti on the basis of photographs. He compares the present painting with The Madonna and Child with the Infant Saint John the Baptist and Saint Anne (with Fürich Galerie, Vienna) and with The Christ in the garden (New Walk Museum and Art Gallery, Leicester).
