This work was excecuted for the exhibition Sandro Chia: Passione per l'arte-Passion for Art held in the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, where Chia created a series of nineteen large colour drawings reflecting on the theme of his large sculpture, which had been installed on the newly-built town hall square in Bielefeld, Germany in 1985.
