A very fine, scratch built model in 3/16" scale, built up in plank on frame construction. The hull of the model is carefully planked in walnut with a mahogany waist. Affixed to the topsides are gun port wreathes which have been carved and gilded, as is the figure head. The deck of the model is planked in boxwood. All of the hull and deck planking is pinned in place. The model is well detailed which include: anchors, anchor windlass, leeboards, pin and fife rails, bilge pump, turned cannons rigged on carriages, companionway, bell and belfry, main aft deck house, etc. The model is fitted with a single gaff rigged mast, standing and running rigging and a suit of linen sails. The model is displayed in a glass case with a mahogany base.
