Of circular section, supported on four beaded bracket feet, with beaded borders, the centre engraved with a coat-of-arms within garland mantling, engraved with scratchweight - 20 7/8in. (53cm.) diameter, 93oz.

Lot Essay

The arms are those of Wentworth quartering Blacket, for Sir Thomas Wentworth-Blacket 5th Bt. (d.1782). He died without male issue and therefore divided the majority of his estate, which provided an income of some £40,000, between his three daughters.
