VARIOUS DATES, MOSTLY CIRCA 1815-40 AND LATER, VARIOUS IRON-RED CROWNED D MARKS AND N0.19 MARKS TO SPILL VASES
Comprising; two Derby spill-vases painted with scenes from the Adventures of Doctor Syntax, a Derby (Bloor) quatrefoil dish painted with a central oval gilt cartouche with a loose bouquet of flowers reserved against a dark-blue ground painted with three further cartouches alternating with gilt grasses, stylised vases and berries, within gilt-feather rims; two English porcelain saucers moulded with scrolling borders reserved against a dark-blue ground and painted with flowers, within gilt-rims; a Derby shaped dish, leaf-moulded with a gilt scrolling handle, painted in an Imari palette with stylised flowerheads within panels of gilt leaves, the border in dark-blue; a Derby porcelain cup and saucer painted in a similar palette; and a Copeland and Garrett flared vase with a scroll-moulded cartouche painted with flower-sprays reserved against a pale-green ground, with four shell and acanthus-moulded feet
