CIRCA 1838, THE FIRST WITH IMPRESSED STAR AND VICTORIA TO REVERSE
The first printed with a quarter-length portrait of young Queen Victoria seated before a castle in the distance, with a broad border moulded with trailing roses and other flowers, the second printed and painted with a quarter-length portrait of Queen Victoria, titled VICTORIA REGINA/Born 24th of May 1819. Proclaimed 20th of June 1837/crowned 28th of June 1838, within a flowerhead-moulded border and lustre-lined rim
