ALL LATE 19TH CENTURY, VARIOUS IMITATION SEVRES INTERLACED L MARKS, THE LAST WITH CROWNED NAPLES MARK
The first of lobed rectangular form painted with cherubs frolicking in clouds, within a raised-gilt quatrefoil cartouche and reserved on a bleu celeste ground; the second of octangonal section with four raised-gilt wreath cartouches painted with rose-sprays and reserved against a pink diaper-pattern ground, the sides with a continuous band of flowers; the third of shaped rectangular form, painted with blue flower-sprays reserved against a yellow large-scale-pattern ground, the fourth of rectangular form painted with panels of loose flowers reserved against a blue oeil-de-perdrix ground, the fifth circular example moulded in the Naples-style with frolicking cherubs in landscape, the border moulded with ribboned-tied flaming torches, a cherub and swags of ivy, all mounted in gilt-metal and most with shell-moulded clasps (very minor damages and rubbing to gilding generally)
