oval section, twin-handled, the cover with flower finial, painted in sepia tones with a coat-of-arms within borders of stylised garlands and husks and brown-line rims, impressed uppercase marks -- 16in. (40.5cm.) wide, circa 1775 (old repairs to stand, cover, and other chips and wear)
