by Grainger & Co., Worcester, modelled as a reticulated oviform urn with slightly domed cover cut and moulded with winged masks on a ground of stylised scrolls, the vase supported on the raised wings of a startled-looking bird above rockwork and a circular base, the ivory-ground porcelain part decorated in shades of pink and green with further gilt enrichment, printed marks -- 8¾in. (22.3cm.) high, circa 1900
