an associated bronze pestle, probably 17th century -- 8¼in. (21cm.) long; and a Dutch bronze mortar, dated 1544, cast with the inscription and date IC BEN GHEOOTEN INT IAER MDXLIII, -- 4 1/16in. (10.3cm.) high (3)
