Provenance: presentation copy from the author to his sister, Maggie (half title inscribed: 'Maggie from JMB'). FIRST EDITION of this very short wartime play with the emperor of Germany as its central character. The dust-jacket bears the sub-title 'the Tragic Man.' (8)
