HORTUS INDICUS MALABARICUS: Eight Plates
eight engravings with hand-coloring, 1683-1703, on laid papers, published in Amsterdam, all with margins, all with central vertical folds where previously bound, all with pale light-staining and minor surface soiling and occasional foxing, several with soft handling creases and small areas of stray printing ink, a few with the faintest off-setting from images showing through from the reverse, one with an unobtrusive area of restoration in the lower left quadrant, otherwise all apparently in good condition, in French mats with wash lines and faux gilt frames with a fleurs-de-lis design, not examined out of the frames
