AN FINE 9.3 X 62 MM MAUSER SPORTING RIFLE BY HARTMANN & WEISS, NO. 105337
The original Oberndorf Mauser action stamped 'Waffenfabrik Mauser-Oberndorf A/N', set-trigger, hinged-floorplate, engraved and colour-hardened recoil-block, the receiver, bolt and furniture engraved with best foliate-scrollwork with full colour-hardened finish overall, highly figured stock with pistolgrip, engraved and colour-hardened pistolgrip-cap, cheek-piece and steel butt-plate (with trap), sling-swivels, the barrel with horn-capped forestock, open-sights and ramp-mounted bead foresight with fold-away moon-sight, the receiver mounted with a Zeiss 'Diavari VM' 2.5-10x50 T* telescopic-sight in quickly-detachable mounts, the barrel also with gold-inlaid maker's signature
