A Regency ebonised, brass-mounted and cut-brass inlaid striking table clock, circa 1820
The arched case with ball finials, fishscale sound frets to the sides and outset brass columns, on ball feet, the silvered and engraved Roman dial with foliate scroll spandrels to Roman chapter ring and to strike/silent ring above, the eight day twin gut fusee movement and anchor escapement, strike on bell, engraved borders to back plate with pendulum holdfast -- 22½in. (57cm.) high
