A George III style oak bracket timepiece with pull quarter repeat, second half 19th century
With brass handle to bell top, foliate cast side panels, foliate carving flanking the front door arch and on brass bracket feet, the brass dial with female mask and foliate spandrels to a silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, the centre with date aperture and engraved with foliate scrolls, blued steel hands, a later silvered plaque to the arch bearing signature Graham/LONDON, the eight day five pillar movement with single wire fusee and verge escapement, hour strike on bell and pull quarter repeat on two bells, with foliate scroll engraved back plate and apron -- 18¾in. (48cm.) high
