A French ormolu-mounted mahogany and parquetry five-piece bedroom suite

Comprising an armoire, bedstead, bedside table, desk and chair: the armoire surmounted by a ribbon-tied floral garland, above three bevelled-mirrored doors, the lockplate stamped F. Linke/Paris, the reverse stamped CT. LINKE/SERRURERIE/PARIS and numbered 1053, the original key also numbered 1053, the angles with fluted columns, the sides with lozenge parquetry, on tapering feet; the similarly decorated bedstead applied to the footboard with a ribbon-tied floral garland; the bedside table surmounted by a Villefranche de Conflent marble top, centred to the front by a frieze drawer, on fluted legs joined by a lower stretcher; the writing desk with gilt-tooled leather writing surface, centred to the front by a frieze drawer, the lockplate also stamped F. Linke, Paris and to the reverse CT. LINKE/SERRURERIE/PARIS; the chair en suite
