A gentleman said to be Mr. J. Blain of Newbury, facing right in a green coat and leaning on his elbow, powdered hair
pendant frame, the reverse with gold monogram JB on hairwork within blue glass border
oval, 2 7/8 in. (73 mm.) high; and Lillias Blain, in a white dress, her fair hair upswept (Margaret Smith, 1907)
