CIRCA 1841, BLUE MARKS TO BASE
The tall cup with a richly-gilt scroll handle painted with a stylised bird head, the armorial device comprises a gilt-shaped shield painted with a fleur-de-lys in red and crossed with a blue band, surmounted with a further fleur-de-lys and scrolls in gilt and red, reserved against a pale apricot-ground painted with bands of gilt scrolls and fleur-de-lys, the saucer inscribed A.v. Biegeleben, seinem C.v. Heinsberg. Bonn 1841, within gilt-rims (2)
